A story on Page A1 of Sunday's Gazette about Colorado Springs Together requires a correction and a clarification.

The article misstated the role of Colorado Springs Together in offering insurance advice to homeowners in Mountain Shadows.

The nonprofit had two licensed, semi-retired independent insurance agents who spent three days a week at the Colorado Springs Together center from August until January, and later by appointment. They provided individual guidance on insurance issues to more than 200 Mountain Shadows residents.

The article requires clarification about GE Johnson's debris removal efforts. The company was paid about $250,000 to clear debris from 74 lots in Mountain Shadows, which officials said covered payments to subcontractors and workers.
