Preliminary Survey Results

On October 4th, we sent an email asking residents to complete Fire Marshal Brett Lacey's Mountain Shadows survey about the proposed fire code changes. Click here to view that email.

At that time, we promised to send the results from the community's feedback; the preliminary results are below.

Click here to download and print the PDF.

Marshal Lacey will be presenting at the November 13th council meeting, and the final reading will be on November 27th. The ordinance would cover all hillside overlay areas across the City of Colorado Springs. Click here to view the hillside overlay map.

Anyone who wants to attend on the 13th will be able to listen and watch.

At the November 27th meeting, public comment will be taken and will be encouraged.
