Free Farmer's Market Week 2

Last Friday, there was a tremendous turnout for Care and Share's free farmer's market at the Colorado Springs Together Center!

In order for things to run even smoother, we will shift the flow of traffic. Please see attached map, as we believe this is the most efficient path into and out of the market. There will be signs to help keep it simple.

Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped, and to everyone who showed up!

We received several requests from folks who work during the day to offer extended or alternate hours. In response, Care and Share has generously offered to extend the hours this week from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Please be sure to read the farmer's market email we send out each week as the hours may fluctuate due to Care and Share's attempts to meet as many needs as possible without exhausting their resources.

When:

Friday, August 31, 2012
1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Where:
Colorado Springs Together Center
6840 Centennial Blvd Colorado Springs, CO 80919

What:

Exclusively for all those affected by the Waldo Canyon Fire.

If you are a fire fighter, first responder, former or current evacuee, are displaced, or are temporarily or permanently unemployed because of the fire, please come and receive what your community has so generously given to you.

Fresh vegetables, fruit, meat and dairy as well as non-perishable meal boxes will be available at no cost.
